Member News: Snugg wins the Scottish Financial Technology Rising Star Award for 2022
Bayes Centre member Snugg has won the Rising Star: Best New Entrant Award 2022 at the recent Scottish Financial Technology Awards. The award recognises the company judged to be this year’s top new entrant in the Scottish fintech sector.
Organised by Digit, the Scottish Financial Technology Awards took place on 6 October and marked the end of the FinTech Scotland FinTech Festival 2022. Snugg’s mission to make energy efficient homes simple and affordable for everyone impressed the judges. Founded at the end of 2021, the fast-growing start-up is developing a new, easy-to-use home energy efficiency platform.
Using just a postcode, the Snugg platform provides a personalised home improvement plan that includes grants, financing options and recommended local installers. By helping to improve home energy efficiency, Snugg will play its part in tackling climate change and meeting net zero targets in Scotland and the rest of the UK.
