Bayes Centre News: Nominations Open for The Earthshot Prize 2023
The Bayes Centre is an Official Nominator for the Earthshot Prize, the most prestigious environmental prize in history.
The Bayes Centre is delighted to be one of a select group of organisations that has been chosen as an Official Nominator for the Earthshot Prize.
The Earthshot Prize was launched in 2020 by HRH The Prince of Wales, Prince William and Sir David Attenborough, and is the most prestigious environmental prize in history. Five winners will be chosen each year over the next decade for their ground-breaking solutions to five of the greatest environmental challenges facing our planet.
The Earthshot Prize aims to discover and help scale innovative solutions that put the world firmly on a trajectory toward a stable climate by 2030 – a world in which communities, oceans and biodiversity can thrive in harmony.
These five Earthshots are: Protect and Restore Nature; Clean our Air; Revive our Oceans; Build a Waste-free World; and Fix our Climate.

Each year, The Earthshot Prize launches a global search for innovative solutions to their five Earthshots. The Bayes Centre, sitting at the heart of the Scottish Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and with a fantastic track record of finding and developing innovative and exciting companies, has been chosen as one of the nominators and we are open to applications from companies who believe they meet the criteria.
