The Bayes Partnership and Affiliate Membership programme

The Bayes Partnership and Affiliate Membership programme is open to businesses looking to locate themselves in an innovation environment to help develop new ideas or solve creative problems working with our extensive network of academics and students in areas such as AI, machine learning, natural language processing, blockchain, robotics and autonomous systems.

We work closely with our Partners and Affiliate Members to help develop their relationship with the University and provide access to academic and research expertise, students and other collaborating partner organisations.

There are two different co-location models depending on your organisation’s needs.

Affiliate Membership

As an Affiliate Member we offer you access to our bookable desks in the Bayes Centre. The membership subscription has a monthly subscription charge and thereafter you simply pay for the desks you book. This option often suits businesses who are right at the start of their development journey or are looking to locate a small team in Edinburgh.

The cost of Affiliate Membership is £65 + VAT per month and £15 + VAT per desk booked.

Partnership

As a Partner you will have the opportunity to lease a permanent desk in our open space or a dedicated office space, dependant on your needs. In addition to your dedicated space, we give you access to our bookable desks (for an additional cost) allowing you to flex your footprint as and when you need it.

The cost of partnership starts around £315 +VAT per month but will depend on the space and location needed.

Application process

To become a Partner or Affiliate Member, you need to complete an application form providing details of your business and how you are looking to work with the University. Your business should fulfil the following criteria to be a Partner or Affiliate Member:
