Industry opportunities - engaging with Dstl 

Dstl, the science inside UK defence and security, is at the forefront of delivering on the Government’s ambitious agenda to secure science superpower status by 2030. 

It is also embarking on its most ambitious agenda to date to develop the best innovative technologies and cutting-edge science to keep the UK safe – spending around an extra £1bn with industry and academia over the next four years.

Interim Chief Executive Doug Umbers has also directly appealed to individuals and organisations across the science and technology community to consider working with Dstl – especially those who have not thought about working with defence and security before. 

In these sessions, you will hear from Mr Umbers, Dstl Chief Technical Officer Andy Bell, as well as those leading work in the exciting areas of AI, space, emerging technologies and others, as well as from the commercial team on how to work with the lab and access funding.
