Do you want to know how you can apply your skills and expertise for a positive impact on society, the environment, and the economy?

Could your research or ideas help solve real world problems, but you’re not sure where to start?

Are you curious how innovation could fit into your career or are you ready to explore venturing out as an entrepreneur?

If any of these apply to you, then join likeminded postdocs from across Europe to unlock your innovation potential to make a difference.

At the p2i: In Action event, you will:

  • Learn how to use the tools of the entrepreneurial world to develop your ideas into opportunities to create impact in and outside of academia.
  • Identify how to apply your research skills and experience to uncover and address real world problems, and create products and services that are doing good in the world
  • Connect with fellow innovative researchers, industry experts, and start-up CEOs to expand your professional networks and learn
  • Gain a better understanding of what motivates you and increased confidence and knowledge to turn your ideas into reality irrespective of career choice.

Experts and entrepreneurial researchers will share inspiring stories and first-hand experience of what it means to be enterprising and of bringing exciting ideas to life in academia, industry or through starting ventures.

You will gain business skills and learn how to apply your experience through team activities, interactive workshops, and practical exercises.

This event provides a valuable opportunity for researchers with an idea or early-stage start-up, as well as for researchers looking to explore innovation and entrepreneurship.

This programme is exclusively open to Early career researchers (postdocs) and early career employees from or funded by p2i partner organisations. Places are sponsored by the p2i Network and available through application only (*).
