Bayes Talks: An Introduction to the Bayes Centre

Dr Michael Rovatsos, Bayes Centre Director, will give a progress update on the wider “Bayes project” and an in-depth insight into how the Bayes structures operate.

The Bayes Talks Series features presentations from all areas of data science, AI, and related fields. It aims to provide a forum for staff and students from all parts of the University and our partner organisations to engage with innovative research and education in these areas, and to help generate new ideas for future initiatives across traditional disciplines.

Talks are aimed at a multidisciplinary audience with varying levels of experience in specific areas. Students at all levels of study are warmly welcome, as are colleagues from industry and public sector organisations close to the University.

Bayes Talks are formal presentations where the wider Bayes community can meet and network, while highlighting research, commercial, and educational opportunities.
