Education
Working in partnership with disciplines and professional services from across the University to deliver data science education and training.
As we build on existing offerings and with new initiatives in the pipeline to deliver the University’s aims in Data Driven Innovation, there are training opportunities for people from a wide range of backgrounds.
When studying data science within the University of Edinburgh, either on campus or online, students have access to a high-profile, innovative data environment with credibility for large-scale external investment in this emerging cross-disciplinary theme.
For companies looking for bespoke training, the Bayes Centre can help plan and develop online and face-to-face Continued Professional Development and Executive Education offerings with academic colleagues.
In collaboration with University colleagues, we are keen to build on existing links and create new relationships with the private and public sectors to grow awareness of data science implications. The University’s Data Driven Innovation ambitions, which the Bayes Centre is a part of, aim to help the wider community understand the benefits and challenges associated with the use of data, enabling them to make use of novel public and commercial services.
We would be happy to discuss online or face-to-face training opportunities as part of Continued Professional Development (CPD) or bespoke skills training.
