Information on ESRC Summer School

Every June, the SGSSS host the popular Summer School in Edinburgh. The Summer School is open to all post graduate students in Social Sciences at any University, although the emphasis is on those matriculated at Scottish institutions of higher education. The Summer School programme is a mix of courses on qualitative and quantitative methods, skills and with a strong social aspect. This is one of the best opportunities of the calendar year to meet other PhD students! Content for Summer School has been contributed by academic colleagues from across Scotland, but they also include external course providers.
