The Fennell Lecture has been made possible due to the generosity of a member of the History alumnus, Simon Fennell.
The virtual forum will bring together some of the leading historians in the field of American history for a discussion of the recent US presidential election and its consequences.
Professor Monica H Green will deliver the 2020 Fennell Lecture on 5 March, 2020.
The 2019 Fennell Lecture will be given by Professor Joanne Freeman entitled, 'The field of blood: Violence in the US Congress and the road to Civil War' on 21 March, 2019.
Dr Sujit Sivasundaram, Reader in World History, Fellow, Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge, will deliver the 2018 Fennell Lecture. (Published 10 January 2018)
