CAHSS Recognition Awards

The Awards forms a wider suite of recognition initiatives that recognise the positive behaviours that make the College a great place to work – the team that thrives on the talents of all its members, the colleague who inspires those with whom they work.

They celebrate individuals and teams who strive for excellence in all that they do, and who act with integrity, commitment and respect.

The peer-award scheme is an opportunity for colleagues to showcase the people they work alongside, and to thank them for the difference they make every day.

The categories were reviewed for 2021 to take account of the challening Covid context and to further strengthen the emphasis on collegiality and demonstration of University values.

A virtual award ceremony hosted by Dorothy Miell, Head of College, saw winners announced for each of the nine categories. The winner received a voucher and a bespoke trophy designed by ECA alumna, Yanan Li.

We received an outstanding number of exceptional nominations from across all career stages, areas and roles  – 1095 in total.
