Washington DC - 26 March 2019

Join the University of Edinburgh Alumni Club of Washington DC for a talk by Professor Charlie Jeffery, Senior Vice-Principal and Professor of Politics at the University of Edinburgh.

Charlie Jeffery is one of Scotland's foremost experts on constitutional change. He will survey the political terrain of the UK as the appointed Brexit day - 29 March 2019 - approaches. Will the UK leave? If so, with or without a deal? And what are the effects of Brexit - on the economy? On the UK’s political parties? And on the UK’s standing in the world?

The talk will be followed by a drinks and canapé reception giving you the chance to catch up with old friends, make new connections and to find out how you can stay involved with the University.

Chicago - 27 March 2019

Join Professor Charlie Jeffery, Senior Vice-Principal and Professor of Politics at the University of Edinburgh, for informal alumni drinks.

As well as catching up with old friends and making new connections, it will be a great chance to hear about recent achievements and exciting future developments at the University.

New York - 4 April 2019

Join fellow University of Edinburgh alumni for an exclusive Scotland Week event in New York.

This event will feature a talk and performance by Dr Lori Watson, a lecturer in Scottish Ethnography at the University. An expert in contemporary traditional music practice, Lori will give an insight into creative innovations in her field followed by a short performance. A drinks reception will follow.
