From the University’s response to the world’s growing health challenges to the reasons behind one graduate’s decision to take on the role of alumni ambassador in Chile, the latest edition of Edinburgh Friends magazine is a wide-ranging look at how and why co-investing with the University is a positive statement in an unsettled and troubled world.

How we can make a difference

Published each October, Edinburgh Friends magazine updates donors, supporters and subscribers on a year of University activities and the impact of past philanthropic support and other forms of engagement, ongoing commitment and participation. It highlights pioneering teaching and research and poses questions and shares challenges that the University considers vital in addressing local and global issues.

Each edition also includes a list of all donors and legacy pledgers for the previous academic year.
