Join the General Council meeting - in person or online
Professor Peter Mathieson, Principal of the University, will present his Annual Report at the next General Council Half-Yearly meeting in the McEwan Hall on Saturday 12 February. The event will also include a special exhibition in McEwan Hall, and alumni can attend in person or online.

The formal proceedings will begin at the later time of 4pm and end around 6pm. This timing is to enable members in the Americas to join us in real time. The meeting will be livestreamed and can be accessed via the General Council website.
A recording will be available to view after the meeting.
Members unable to attend in person are invited to submit questions by email, before or during the meeting to: General.Council@ed.ac.uk.
Before the formal meeting members are invited to visit an exhibition in the McEwan Hall exemplifying the remarkable adaptation and innovation that emerged across the University in response to the Covid pandemic. Refreshments will be available from 2pm. Recorded highlights of the exhibition will be available via the General Council website in due course.

General Council members are reminded that online voting opens on 5 January 2022 and polls close on 8 February 2022.
