2. Principal unveils Strategy 2030

The University has unveiled its ambitious strategy for the next ten years and beyond.
3. Tune in to Sharing things - a new University podcast

Sharing things, our new podcast, launches on Thursday 26 September. The nine-part series will explore Edinburgh people and what makes them tick through a conversation between two people – whether student, staff or graduate. Episode one features guests Prince Chakanyuka and Kezia Dugdale who talk about staple diets, bringing diversity to politics, Gordon Aikman, childhood and more.
4. Join us in Paris

Alumni are invited to attend an event in Paris on Thursday 10 October hosted by the League of European Research Universities (LERU) and taking place at Sorbonne University from 5.30pm until 8.15pm. The evening will include a drinks reception and a keynote speech by Professor Raja Chatila, Director of Sorbonne's Institute of Intelligent Systems and Robotics. 5. University celebrates South Asia Week

South Asia Week celebrates connections with the region and this year runs from 30 September to 4 October. This year there is a wide range of events, including film screenings, exhibition previews, musical performances and more.

Africa Week celebrates the University’s engagement across the African continent, and takes place 24 - 30 October 2019.
7. Double win for Edinburgh at Scottish Varsity

Edinburgh Women's and Men's teams gave dominant performances at the Scottish Varsity Matches to claim a double win against the University of St Andrews.
8. Alumni gathering in Almaty, Kazakhstan

Join us for a joint alumni drinks reception with the University of Glasgow and University of Strathclyde.
9. Principal’s prizes reward student accomplishments

Eight Edinburgh students have been recognised for their inspirational achievements.
