October 2017 | India Day 2017: A Talk by Dr Shashi Tharoor
The University of Edinburgh is delighted to invite you to attend a talk by renowned Indian politician and former diplomat, Dr. Shashi Tharoor, as part of the India Day celebrations on Monday 2nd October 2017.
Dr Tharoor will deliver a lecture, entitled 'Looking Back at the British Raj in India', and discuss how the British Raj has shaped the narrative around India-UK relations.
A book signing of Dr Tharoor's latest publication, 'Inglorious Empire', will be available for a short time after the lecture.
