Enlightened
Through our Enlightened publications and podcast, we take time to explore issues in depth. We respond to current areas of discussion and debate, reflecting the diverse and wide-ranging interests of our global Edinburgh community. Enlightened is not who we are, it's where we are going.
Enlightened Conversations
Enlightened Conversations is our new podcast that launched in July 2023. It takes a deep dive into the inspiring work, ideas and experiences of the University of Edinburgh’s global alumni community.
In each episode, we ask prominent alumni and top thinkers from around the world to take a topic and discuss, probe, debate and question. It's about sharing ideas and provoking thought.

Enlightened Magazine
Enlightened Magazine is our alumni-focused publication, where we take time to explore issues in depth. We respond to current areas of discussion and debate, in an effort to reflect the diverse and wide-ranging interests of our global Edinburgh community.
We aim to publish four editions each year, but if a story isn't ready to be told then we give it time and space to develop. In a rapidly changing culture of fast news and even faster opinions, we take our time to listen, reflect, observe and understand.
