Beyond graduation

Your alumni benefits

Access to the student union, discounted gym membership and a lifetime email account are just some of the benefits of becoming an alumnus.

Alumni card

As an alumnus you will always be part of the University community, whether you stay in the city or decide to explore pastures new.

Get your alumni card

The alumni card is your gateway to a range of alumni benefits and services including gym membership and exclusive discounts.  You can order your card on the alumni version of MyEd. The login details are the same as when you were a student.

If you experience any problems please contact us at dasusers@ed.ac.uk.

See friends at Teviot or go to the gym

All alumni card holders can get into the EUSA premises throughout the University, including the Teviot Student Union. Just show your alumni card and separate photographic ID to get in. Graduates also receive a discount on the annual Sport and Exercise membership fee.

Never lose your emails

If you're worried about losing your student email account, or are keen to have a professional email address for your CV and job applications, you can sign up to the alumni mail service. This means you can keep hold of all of those conversations and advertise your University of Edinburgh credentials.
