Enhancement-Led Institutional Review (ELIR) is the method by which the Quality Assurance Agency (Scotland) (QAAS) reviews universities and other higher education institutions in Scotland. Yearly meetings with QAAS help support the University’s ongoing commitment to quality enhancement. The University received the highest possible judgement from the latest ELIR, an outcome of 'effective arrangements for managing academic standards and the student learning experience'.
