Enhancement-Led Institutional Review (ELIR) is the method by which the Quality Assurance Agency (Scotland) reviews universities and other higher education institutions in Scotland.  Yearly meetings with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAAS) help support the University’s ongoing commitment to quality enhancement. The University received the highest possible judgement from the 2015 ELIR, an outcome of 'effectiveness' in the management of academic standards and enhancing quality.
