In 2014, a consultation was conducted to seeks views from the University community of staff and students on options for how the University of Edinburgh might fulfil its commitments under the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment.
The consultation closed on Friday 4 April 2014.
The University of Edinburgh was the first university in Europe to sign the UN Principles of Responsible Investment. In order to adhere to the Principles, the University must incorporate environmental, social and corporate governance issues into its investment analysis and decision-making processes.
The University was keen to hear a range of views during the consultation period in order to allow it to take an informed decision as to the best means to implement our UNPRI commitments.
