Social Responsibility and Sustainability

Take our online course

This online induction course introduces our department and explains the various ways in which we support the University in becoming a more sustainable place. It takes about 30 minutes to complete and is open to all staff, students and alumni.

Be Sustainable

Being sustainable can mean many different things - from reducing the energy you use and the amount of waste you create, to choosing a less polluting mode of transport and eating healthier, locally-produced food.

Understanding sustainability and being able to apply it is a great skill to have in any workplace, and the University encourages all staff and students to learn about some of the key issues.

You can sign up at any time by following these steps:

  1. Log on to MyEd
  2. click LEARN on the left hand menu
  3. Go to the SELF ENROL classes.
  4. Choose to complete the Be Sustainable online training either as a staff member or as a student.

If you have any problems finding the course get in touch with us.
