Be Sustainable

Being sustainable can mean many different things - from reducing the energy you use and the amount of waste you create, to choosing a less polluting mode of transport and buying ethically-sourced goods.

These topics and others are covered in “Be Sustainable”, a short online course we're revamping this Summer that offers an introduction to what sustainability means, why it's important, and how staff can improve the sustainability of their place of work. Register your interest in taking the 30 minute course below, or get a first look at the course in August 2018 by helping us test it.

If you've taken Be Sustainable before, we encourage you to still register for the new course which has lots of up-to-date facts and tips and lets you create a personalised action plan.

Modern Slavery Awareness training

What is modern slavery and how can we spot the risks? This online course will explain why modern slavery can still occur in supply chains and the steps you can take to ensure the goods and services you purchase are slavery-free. The course takes less than 30 minutes to complete and we encourage all staff to take it to help the University uphold its zero tolerance approach to slavery.
