Did you know you’re studying at a Fairtrade university? This will be a chance for you to learn more about what it means to be Fairtrade, and the impact that it has on wider communities.
We’re very proud to be a Fairtrade University, in a Fairtrade City, in a Fairtrade Nation!
Come along to learn more about what it means to be Fairtrade, the impact this has on producers and communities, and what you can do to support ethical consumerism.
There will be FREE chocolate tasting, kindly hosted by friends at the One World Shop, where you will get to sample some delicious Fairtrade treats!
Members of the SRS team will meet students at Meeting Point A, Teviot Row House, and walk everyone over to the One World Shop.
This is part of a wider series of Welcome Week events being organised by the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability.
