Scotland's Housing Crisis: how can we fix it?

The UK housing crisis and homelessness is not just about housing stock, affordability and access; it is fundamentally about people. This Visions for Change event will explore Scotland’s Housing Crisis and our response to it.

Those affected by the housing crisis include families struggling to pay mortgages and 'generation rent', as well as those without a home to call their own.  It is about young children living in substandard, temporary accommodation who face upheaval every time the family are forced to move.  In its more extreme form the housing crisis is about rough sleeping, the long term health effects of homelessness and the marginalisation of those who find themselves in such a vulnerable position within our society.

This Visions for Change event will explore Scotland’s Housing Crisis, outlining the key issues, and discussing how the crisis can be overcome.
