Academics, activists and comedians come together to pitch their vision of the future world.

Hosted by resident MC, comedian and broadcaster Susan Morrison, this special edition of The Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas will bring together academics, activists and comedians to pitch their visions of the future, explaining their views on the impact of climate change and their predictions for human interaction in our increasingly connected world.

Expect debate, discussion and discourse with some of the fiercest intellects Scotland has to offer!

Doors open from 1pm, with the event starting promptly at 1.30pm.

This event is part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival.

This event is a collaboration between the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation, the Beltane Public Engagement Network, and the University of Edinburgh.
