We aim to provide a unique Edinburgh offer for all our students, and to benefit society as a whole. The University of Edinburgh BSL plan refers to all ten areas of the National BSL plan and includes actions to be taken by all parts of the University. This first BSL Plan sets out actions we will take over the period 2018-2024.

The University of Edinburgh has developed a plan for supporting the use of British Sign Language in University activities.

Review and renewal

We will review the University’s BSL plan each year. In the final year of the plan, we will review this plan and consult on the next one. This cycle of review and renewal will continue into future plans.
