Our photo gallery showcases the University's celebrations on the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day.

International Women’s Day on 8 March, is a globally recognised day to honour and inspire women and their achievements.

For the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day the University and Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA) hosted a programme of events for the University and local community, including a portrait photography exhibition in Old College quad throughout spring.

The exhibition, called Inspiring Women, was so successful it later moved to Teviot Square and George Street throughout the summer.
