Support for Teaching programme
This programme has been developed by the Veterinary Medical Education Division (VMED) to support any colleague involved in teaching, learning and assessment at the R(D)SVS or Roslin Institute.
We offer range of different activities including workshops, journal clubs, talks, and educational fora, as well as a longitudinal programme (the Edinburgh Teaching Award) that leads to accredited fellowship of the Higher Education Academy at four possible levels (AFHEA, FHEA, SFHEA, PFHEA).

We offer a range of options to support staff working towards their HEA Fellowship.
Peer observation of teaching 2022
The R(D)SVS Senior Management Group has approved new school-wide initiatives to further enhance our commitment to teaching excellence and enhancing the student experience (effective Jan 2016).
