The gallery comprises three distinct exhibition spaces.
Gallery 1 has a changing programme of exhibitions, presenting the work of contemporary Scottish and International artists through solo, retrospective, and thematic exhibitions.
Gallery 2 has an impressive Georgian interior, originally designed by William Playfair as a natural history museum. This recently refurbished room now hosts vibrant historic, experimental and academic exhibitions. The upper level of the gallery displays a selection from The University Torrie Collection; a bequest to the University of predominantly seventeenth century Dutch paintings and bronzes.
Gallery 3 Is located on the 3rd floor of the Gallery and constitutes an iconic round room plus 2 adjacent spaces. It is the home and epicentre of the Gallery's TRG3 programme, dedicated to supporting early career artists, residencies and experimental projects.
