Our Parliamentary Programme allows you to study with MSPs in the Scottish Parliament.

You can select from two programmes, each lasting fifteen weeks:
| Semester One | September - December | 2 Sep -13 Dec |
|---|---|---|
| Semester Two | January - May | 13 Jan - 25 April |
Students complete three academic courses which are classroom based, followed by a research project supervised by a member of the Scottish Parliament and an academic from the Institute of Governance.
You will have study space in the Parliament Building as well as an academic base in the Institute of Governance.
I just can't get over how much my perspective has changed in a mere 15 weeks ... I had the most wonderful experience and coming here was the best decision I ever made.
Naser Javaid
Supervised by Jamie McGrigor, MSP
Enrolment in the programme is highly selective and will be restricted to no more than twenty students in any semester.
To be eligible students must have completed at least two years of study at their home institution.
Full fluency in English is a prerequisite as students will often answer telephones, take notes, and write letters, briefing papers, press releases and reports.

Some students combine the Parliamentary Programme with a semester as a Study Abroad student. If you would like to do this, read more about the Study Abroad programme and contact us to discuss your options.
Everyone here has been friendly and engaging. The MSPs and staff received me very warmly, and I had fun both in and out of the office
