Our undergraduate Open Days are a great opportunity to come and see the University for yourself.
You can find out about student life in Edinburgh from the people who know it best - our students and staff.
You can also explore the campus, learn more about the range of degrees available and ask questions about admissions, accommodation and job prospects.
The School of GeoSciences invites all students who are thinking of studying for an undergraduate degree in Ecological and Environmental Sciences, Geology, Geology and Physical Geography, Geophysics or Environmental Geosciences to come and visit us on Monday 9th December 2013. For students thinking about entry to the University in September 2015, we will hold three undergraduate Open Days in 2014. The provisional dates for these Open Days are listed below, but please note that these are still subject to change:
It is not currently possible to book for our 2014 Open Days.
Booking will open approximately six weeks in advance of each Open Day. We will make announcements on our Facebook and Twitter feed so it is worth adding these to be sure you are notified.
Every prospective student attending either on their own, or with friends or family, should book their own place at Open Day using the 'booking for individuals' link. The booking form allows you to enter the number of guests accompanying you. This allows us to keep track of visitor numbers, but also means we can let you know of any changes for the subjects you are interested in. You can book up to five additional places for friends and family.
We also welcome group bookings from schools and colleges via the 'booking for groups' links.
Once you have booked, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite. There is no need to bring confirmation of your booking on the day.
Online booking via Eventbrite will be available six weeks in advance of each of our 2014 Open Days.
