If your email system accepts all emails straight into your Inbox without using any filters, then you should receive an email acknowledgement of your booking within a few minutes of submitting it. However, we know some mailbox systems are set up to filter incoming emails; if yours is one, then you must change it to enable your Inbox to accept emails from the following email domain:
If you do not do this, emails from us may well go straight to your Junk or Spam mailboxes rather than your Inbox. The result is that you will not receive confirmation of your booking and we will be unable to send you any updates about Open Day in the run up to the day.
Indeed, if you are likely to want to communicate with the University in the future, it is sensible if your system recognises all emails from the University of Edinburgh.
