Campus visits for student groups
We are happy to accommodate groups of school and college students that wish to visit us outside of formal Open Days.
Talks
Group visits for school and college students usually include presentations on a range of topics, including:
- Studying at the University of Edinburgh
- Studying in Scotland
- Why go to higher education?
- Choosing a course and university
- Applying through UCAS and the personal statement
- Student life
- Student finance
- Making good use of Open Days
Student-led tours
We are also usually able to offer your group a guided tour of the central George Square campus, led by a current student of the University.
If you are interested in bringing a group of students to the University, please get in touch with us to let us know details of when you would like to visit.
Self-guided and podcast tours
If for any reason we cannot offer you a student-led tour, we do have a self-guided tour available. We also offer a podcast tour that you can download and listen to on an MP3 player.
