Information for parents
Edinburgh. Extraordinary futures await.

Where can I get the information I need?

Whether you went to university or not, the range of courses and institutions available can be bewildering.

The type of institutions and courses available, the financial situation facing students, and their employment prospects when they finish may not be familiar to you.

There are now over 50,000 courses listed in the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service Handbook.

Student Recruitment and Admissions

Student Recruitment & Admissions (SRA) staff try to help parents and guardians through this minefield by providing advice at parents’ evenings, school careers conventions and at regional higher education conventions.
