Our award-winning Careers Service can help with your career choices and offer practical advice about how to secure a prime employment opportunity.
Based in purpose-built premises within the University’s Main Library, the service can offer you:
- guidance and assistance on the job search process
- mock interviews
- help with application forms
- events and online toolkits to support career development
- opportunities to work alongside business through schemes such as ‘Insight into Management’
- a mentoring programme offered through the ‘Focus on Your Future’ seminar series
- a Careers Fair and new web-based Virtual Careers Fair, featuring employers in Greater China and South-East Asia.
The Careers Service is awesome. The careers advisers are so experienced that they provide valuable guidance and detailed advice on every aspect of the job application process, from application forms, covering letters to mock interviews and assessment centres. They also try to expand the number and improve the quality of part-time jobs available.
