Entry requirements

This programme is designed for international students who have not previously been able to access our undergraduate degrees, due to the fact that their school-leaving qualification was not recognised by the University of Edinburgh.

This innovative programme will be integrated into the first year of study, so unlike many other foundation programmes, will not mean an extra year of study.

After successful completion of the first year, students will have the opportunity to transfer into a variety of different degree programmes, within their chosen subject area.

What you will be studying

Year 1

Students will take Engineering, Mathematics and an additional Academic English for International Students course which has been specifically designed for Science & Engineering students.

Year 2

After successful completion of the first year, students will have the opportunity to transfer into a variety of different degree programmes, within their chosen subject area.
