Certain study programmes require students to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups scheme.
The following subject areas require all successful applicants to join the Disclosure Scotland Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme as part of the admissions process:
- Education
- Medicine
- Nursing
- Oral Health Sciences
- Social Work (checks are made as part of the registration with the Scottish Social Services Council)
