Direct entry to second year
Many of our degree programmes within the College of Science and Engineering allow students direct entry to second year.
Science and engineering subject areas
Entry is based on attainment of specified grades in SQA Advanced Highers, GCE A levels, Higher National (HN) or other relevant qualifications (International Baccalaureate, German Abitur, for example).
Details of the grades required for advanced entry with SQA Advanced Highers or GCE A Levels are available throughout the prospectus within each of the subject area entries.
