Our accommodation
The University has more than 4,100 residential places for new undergraduate students, in a wide range of accommodation.
Our accommodation is based across a number of sites, all located within a short walk or bus ride from Edinburgh’s centre and the main University areas.

Support
Advice and support is available to help you find somewhere to live and assist with any housing issues.
Our Residence Life team will help you with the transition from home to University and throughout your time with us.
Professionally trained accommodation managers and wardens are supported by a network of older students who are all on hand to deal with any issues you may have.
Private housing
If you would prefer not to live in University accommodation, we can also offer you advice and assistance on finding private rented accommodation.
