Lectures and tutorials make up the majority of teaching time, although some programmes also use other teaching methods.

You will be taught through a combination of lectures and tutorials, with laboratory work for science-based courses.
For most courses, lectures form the main teaching framework. They provide a guide to the subject matter and set out the foundations upon which you can build your knowledge.
Tutorials consist of a small group of students and give you the opportunity to develop and discuss themes with academic staff. Tutorials are often based on written work.
