We provide postgraduate study at masters level or at doctoral level. You can study full-time or part-time and may be able to learn online.
|Masters degrees||Taught or research programmes for people with an undergraduate degree|
|Doctoral study||Advanced research programmes for people who often already have a postgraduate masters degree|
We offer several degrees we call masters degrees, ranging from undergraduate to advanced postgraduate awards.
A postgraduate masters degree is for people who will normally have completed an undergraduate degree and want to undertake more specialist training, or change their field of study.
We offer both taught and research masters programmes.
You may be able to study either full-time or part-time, or via online distance learning.
Doctoral studies - mostly classified as PhDs - are for people who will often have completed a postgraduate masters degree and want to undertake a period of highly specialised independent research training.
A PhD can be awarded for work undertaken within any school at the University. We welcome enquiries and applications from prospective research students with interdisciplinary research interests.
Professional doctorates use applied research. Some professional doctorates may be prescribed by your industry.
You may be able to study either full-time or part-time. We do not currently offer any doctoral study as online distance learning.
