Postgraduate entry requirements for students from Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya & Syria.

For entry to most postgraduate taught degrees the minimum requirement you need is a good Bachelors Degree from a recognised university. In addition country-specific guidance on grades are given below.

Country-specific grades and scores

Egypt

You should have a degree with a classification above 70% or above 3.0 on a 4-point scale.

Iran

You should have an Honours Bachelor Degree or Bachelors Licenciate with the classification of above 80%, or 15 or above on a 20-point scale, or above 3.5 on a 4-point alpha scale.

Iraq

You should have a degree with a grade of 75% or above.

Israel

You should have a degree with a grade of 80% or above.

Jordan

You should have a degree with the classification of ‘jayyid’ or jayyid jiddan’.

Kuwait

You should have a degree with a classification above 80% or above 2.8 on a 4-point scale.

Libya

You should have a degree with a classification above 80% or with a 'Very Good' or 'Excellent' rating.

Syria

You should have a degree or licence with a classification above 70% or ‘Jayyid Jiddan’.
