Tuition fees
Students on IEAP pay a fee for the pre-sessional English tuition, in addition to the fees for the postgraduate degree.
English language fees
There are three options for the pre-sessional English tuition, depending on the IELTS or TOEFL scores achieved so far.
Applicants with:
- An overall IELTS or TOEFL score slightly below the entry requirement AND a module score that is slightly below the entry requirement
- Must take IEAP Option 1 (10 weeks)
- IELTS or TOEFL module scores slightly below the entry requirement
- Must take IEAP Option 2 (7 weeks)
- Holding an unconditional offer to study at Edinburgh
- Can take IEAP Option 3 (4 weeks)

Accommodation
Accommodation costs (during the pre-sessional English courses only) are:
- £135 per week for a standard single room, self-catering
To apply for accommodation for the period of study of the postgraduate degree, applicants need to contact Accommodation Services and make a further application.
Postgraduate tuition fees
Tuition fees for the postgraduate degree are paid on or before the start of the course, and vary from programme to programme.
