Introduction
The University of Edinburgh was proud to honour its first Indian graduate in 1876 and since then, the University has welcomed and prepared hundreds of Indian students for successful careers in a variety of sectors.
The University’s academic links extend to include a number of India's premier institutions. These include formal links with the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research, The Indian Institute of Science and the Indian Institution of Management in Bangalore, and the University of Delhi with whom the University has a student exchange programme.
