There are over 80 students from Russia.
The majority are undergraduates spread across a wide range of subjects such as Business, Economics, Politics and International Relations, and Mathematics.
University of Edinburgh alumni have made important contributions in Russia for centuries. Robert Erskine, for example, was personal surgeon to Peter the Great and laid the foundation of the Russian healthcare system.
The job titles of our Russian alumni today are varied but impressive. Many have continued on in academia and are now lecturers at universities around the world.
Others are professionals such as architects, lawyers and doctors. The majority are on business, marketing or finance career ladders.
You can check the International Office website to see when University officials may next be visiting Russia.
