Moldovan qualifications

Students from Moldova are admitted to the University of Edinburgh with a range of qualifications, however, applicants to Medicine will only be considered if they have completed A levels or the IB.

Students with the Moldovan Certificate of Secondary Education will normally be required to successfully complete a Foundation Year programme before beginning their undergraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh.

The undergraduate minimum entry requirements for students with Moldovan qualifications are:

  • Certificate of Secondary School Education, with an average 9.0/10.0, plus completion of a recognised Foundation programme or

We accept a wide range of UK and international qualifications for entry to our undergraduate degree programmes. For more information please see our general entry requirements.
