There are currently less than 30 Danish students studying at the University.
Denmark and Scotland have much in common with similar sized populations and an appreciation of the benefits of education for individuals and for economic development. The Scottish Government will pay the fees of undergraduate students from Denmark, who also receive student support in the form of grants and loans from their own Government to study at Edinburgh for up to four years. The Danish Government have also recently introduced a scholarship scheme to provide financial support to cover postgraduate fees in “reputable” foreign universities (including Edinburgh) for a maximum of two years.
