You can follow the progress of your application through UCAS Track.
To ensure that your application receives full and equal consideration with others, you should apply by the deadlines.
Applications received after this date will be considered on an individual basis at the discretion of the relevant College Admissions Office.
It will not be possible to apply through UCAS for some degree programmes after these deadlines. If you are considering applying after the relevant deadline, and UCAS Apply indicates that we are still accepting applications, please contact the relevant College admissions team to check the availability of places before submitting your application.
The United Kingdom Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) is a mandatory requirement for all students applying to study Medicine at Edinburgh.
Please note that the deadline to register for the UKCAT is before the UCAS application deadline.
You will be required to sit the test during the summer prior to application.
Applications for direct entry to second year of programmes in the College of Science and Engineering should be made through UCAS in the usual way.
