Planned maintenance

Information on planned downtime.

We are upgrading EUCLID and our application system. This annual upgrade ensures that we are using the latest version of the software and are in compliance with our support contract.

The upgrade will begin on Friday 26th April from 2pm and run over the weekend, with all services restored in full by Monday 29th April 2024.

We will also make an essential change in advance of the upgrade. This change requires an period of additional downtime for EUCLID and related applications. This will take place on Monday 1st April.

The downtime will be as follows, and has been negotiated with key stakeholders:

 

Monday 1st April 2024

8am – 2pm: EUCLID and related applications unavailable

8am – 6pm: Student data universes in BI Suite only unavailable

 

Friday 26th April 2024 at 2pm – Monday 29th April at 9am – annual EUCLID upgrade

EUCLID and related applications unavailable

 

The services affected during these time are:

  • EUCLID, including student record and admissions
  • Postgraduate and Visiting student application form
  • EUCLID/Applicant Hub for applicants
  • Application reference submission
  • Student Attendance Registers
  • Student Support Tools
  • Student Self Service
  • ESC (Extensions and special circumstances) / Assessment Support application
  • ETA extra time adjustment tool
  • BI Suite universes that read directly from EUCLID: Schools; Registry; Admissions
  • Other Student data universes that do not read directly from EUCLID will remain available but return static data
