Over 150 Masters Scholarships are available for the 2016-2017 academic session at the University of Edinburgh.
Over 150 Scholarships are available to UK and EU students accepted on a full-time one year Masters degree programme in any subject offered by the University starting in 2016-2017.
20 scholarships will have a value of £10,000, with the remaining awards each providing £4,500. These awards will be tenable for one academic year and will automatically be deducted from your tuition fee with any remaining funds being awarded towards living costs.
The scholarships will be awarded to UK or EU nationals who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate one year Masters degree programme of study at the University commencing in the 2016-2017 academic year. Both taught Masters and Masters by Research programmes are eligible for this award.
Applicants accepted on a part-time or online distance learning programme are not eligible to apply.
Students who are already on programme are not eligible to apply.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the international equivalent of a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level.
This award is now closed. We are no longer accepting applications for the 2016-2017 academic session.
A Selection Committee will meet in May 2016 to select the scholarship holders. All applicants will be notified by mid June 2016.
The University of Edinburgh is also offering 20 Masters Access Awards for the 2016-2017 academic session. Further information on eligibility and the application process can be found at UK Masters Access Awards.
