Scholarships are available for study in the area of Energy and Environment in the UK in 2017-2018.
These scholarships, provided by the Scottish Power Foundation in partnership with its Spanish equivalent Fundacion Iberdrola, are available in the following areas:
The Foundation’s preferred programmes of study at the University of Edinburgh are below, however they may consider applications from applicants to other programmes if they have relevant undergraduate experience linked to the themes above.

The scholarships aim to contribute to the education of young professionals with the capabilities required to lead the energy industry into the future.
Each award covers tuition fees plus a maintenance allowance of £1,200 per month. Awards are made for a maximum duration of one calendar year.
Applicants meet be nationals of the United Kingdom, and hold a good undergraduate degree.
Applicants must be intending to commence a full-time, on campus taught masters programme at the University of Edinburgh or be expecting to progress to the final year of an integrated masters programme such as MEng.

Phil Duffield from the Scottish Power Foundation will visit the University of Edinburgh on the 2nd March at 5pm. Phil will be able to provide more information on this funding opportunity as well as answer any questions about the application process and the funding itself. The event is likely to last an hour.

The successful applicants of the scholarship will be announced by June 2017.
